Terms & Cancellation Policy

By booking a taxi with JetDrop Taxi through our website, phone or WhatsApp, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you book.

Bookings

• A booking is confirmed only after we confirm it by call, WhatsApp or message.
• Please give correct pickup and drop addresses, date, time and contact number. Wrong details can cause delays or extra charges.
• Vehicle is allotted by type (Sedan, SUV, Innova, Crysta). The exact car model may vary within the type you booked.

Fares and charges

• Fares on the website are estimates based on per-km rates and approximate route distance. The final fare is calculated on actual kilometres travelled.
• One-way trips have a minimum billing distance of 130 km.
• Driver allowance (batta) is charged as shown in the fare estimate given at the time of booking.
• Toll, state permit, parking and hill charges are extra and paid at actuals.
• Extra kilometres, extra stops or route changes requested during the trip are charged at the applicable per-km rate.
• Payment is made to the driver or to JetDrop Taxi at the end of the trip, unless agreed otherwise.

Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel a booking free of charge by calling or messaging us. Please inform us as early as possible, preferably at least 2 hours before pickup.
• If you paid an advance and cancel at least 2 hours before pickup, the advance will be refunded within 7 working days.
• If the driver has already reached the pickup point and you cancel, a cancellation charge may apply to cover the driver's travel.
• If we cancel your booking or cannot provide a vehicle, any advance you paid will be refunded in full.

Passenger responsibilities

• Be ready at the pickup point on time. Waiting beyond a reasonable time may be charged.
• Do not carry illegal, dangerous or prohibited items.
• Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Please check the vehicle before leaving.
• Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers must be paid for.
• The driver may refuse or end a trip if a passenger is abusive, drunk and disorderly, or asks the driver to break traffic laws.

Delays and liability

We try to reach every pickup on time. Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown or other events outside our control may happen. In such cases we will arrange an alternative where possible. Our responsibility is limited to the fare of the trip.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the date of your booking applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Ramanathapuram district, Tamil Nadu.
